Let our panel of experienced authors be your guide as they share the pros and cons of traditional publishing, e-publishers, and self-publishing, as well as what it means to be a hybrid author. Come prepared to ask questions and take notes!
Deena Remiel: Deena spends her time playing in the Garden of Good and Evil as she writes paranormal romance and suspense. She’s been known to have downed a few drinks with her angels, and even put Satan in his place a time or two. She’s fascinated with the concept of immortality and all its implications. Gilbert, Arizona, near her beloved Superstition Mountains, is where she and her family call home.
Deena has been an educator for over 28 years! Currently, she teaches English/Language Arts to 7th and 8th grade gifted students. Another role she has taken on is that of founder of the schools first literary anthology, the Literal Scorpion, filled solely with stories, poems, and essays written by her students. She has a passion for teaching, be it youths or adults. She considers herself a student for life, and enjoys photography, scrapbooking, and gatherings with family and friends.
Anne Marie Becker: Anne Marie has always been fascinated by people—inside and out—which led to degrees in Biology, Chemistry, Psychology, and Counseling. Her passion for understanding the human race is now satisfied by her roles as mother, wife, daughter, sister, and award-winning author of romantic suspense.
