Phoenix Desert Rose Chapter #60 of Romance Writers of America®

ABOUT US
We are a non-profit group of 120+ romance and multi-genre writers affiliated with the national Romance Writers of America®.  Desert Rose encourages its members through each stage of their writing career, from first manuscripts to becoming New York Times best sellers.  Guests are welcome to attend up to two meetings.  Information on joining Desert Rose and RWA® is available HERE.  We hold monthly meetings, offer informative monthly newsletters, and work with our sister chapter, Valley of the Sun RWA® to bring events to readers and writers.  Each year, we sponsor the Golden Quill contest for published authors and host one of RWA®'s biggest regional conferences, Desert Dreams (registration closing SOON).

Bio:
 Before pursuing her passion
for books, Christine studied biology, chemistry, and nursing.  A
hopeless overachiever, she shocked everyone when she decided to
tackle a career in publishing instead of medicine, and dedicated all
her time and efforts to becoming a 'super literary agent' and
networking goddess.  In 2996, after researching the industry, the
market, and the craft for more than four years, as well as
establishing an impressive contact list of industry professionals,
Christine opened her own agency - Book Cents Literary Agency.
She loves a great story, but more importantly wants to be the one
to sell it!  "There is noting more exciting than helping writers turn
their words into books."  Christine represents both published and
     unpublished authors.
